How are the Binding routers that StewMac sells..are they ok on repair work???

Yes it works, go slow and keep extra bits on hand, they get dull and start to burn. Make several passes to get to the depth you want, adjusting the tool between passes.

Marty - how easy is it to keep that thing parrallel with the sides as you are pushing it over different radiuses etc?

It's pretty accurate if you keep the tool faced the same way as you go around. Taking several passes to get to the full depth is helpful because then the last pass is the only one that has to be done perfectly.
