I've been playing an old Martin D35 for a long time but over time I have realized that it's too darn big for me to play comfortably.
I'm interested in any reviews you may offer on the M42 Bromberg and/or the OM 28 Marquis. The M42 Bromberg has the same neck as the D35, alpine spruce top, and the body shape is a cross between and OM and a D. It played very nicely with great sustain and good balance but it looks to me like you pay a fair amount for the fancy appointments and the signature. I have not been able to play the OM 28 Marquis yet since my dealer doesn't have one.
Any playing experience with either one to share?

My main guitar is an M-32, with the same dimensions and body shape. I couldn't recommend it highly enough. I would say that it is not a small guitar, though much more comfortable to me than the dreads are.
I play mostly fingerstyle pre-war blues, 70's random stuff, Bruce Cockburn-type stuff, and random folky stuff. I could pretty easily take a quick recording of mine if you're interested.
Cheers,
Paul

Hi Paul, It's so amazing how things work out, hopefully the way they should have. I had a line on a 2006 like new OM-28 Marquis but I thought it had slipped away from me. It looks like it's going to be mine after all.
I would like to hear some of your music if you still want to send some.

Hey Barb,
Have a great time with your new OM! You should go introduce yourself to the gang on the main forum, we'd love to have you stay and hang out.
Cheers,
Paul
