I am considering and would really like to go. It will depend on how the money and work schedule pan out. My fingers are crossed.

Giacomo -- you'd be heaven with all those gunslingers on campus for an entire week. Consider the $700 +/- room board and lessons all day plus hanging with the pros all night -- pretty cheap if you count the hours of instruction/face time with great guitar players. Of course, with Bill Hammond and Sandy Shalk not attending, there is a "stud-student vacuum" that you could fill. I will leave the rest to your imagination.
Besides, we need to meet -- I was very impressed with your Cd and I would love to see/hear few of these tunes in person. Mark the dates.

The Swanny website was updated today -- THEY ARE NOW ACCEPTING PRE-REGIStRATIONS -- this usually ssures you of better class selections -- but who knows. I just registered and sent in my $100 deposit.

Reading threads like this mean so much more to me now that I have two of these Gatherings under my belt, and the next one on the calendar already.
