Just for a change of place from landscapes. I resized it but it's still too big. Had a hard time with the depth of field. Criticisms welcome.

How could a mandolin be pretty!
I like the shallow depth of field and the focal point. The eye goes right to those first friendly five frets.
I might burn in the bottom left corner a titch ... otherwise, nice still life!

Here's the hammered dulcimer. Don't bother critiquing, I'd so many things differently next time, but I didn't this time.

Flake, I like the macro shot of your mando. I have such a hard time doing something that looks good with my guitar. it seems like all the elements should be there, pretty wood, strings and frets, but when I shoot it, it always comes out looking lame. But I like your mando shot. Mike
