Get the round ones.
They cost a little more, but they work a whole lot better.

Ok, ok. I go to the knock-off stores where they sell the "generics" and have never had a problem. You can even get warrantees on them. You have anything like that down yonder, evan?

Check out www.tirerack.com They have more information on tires than you'll need to know. The user reviews are very helpful. They also sell them cheaper than almost anybody and they'll ship them directly to a tire installer in your area. If you don't want to mess with the online buying and shipping routine, print up the price quote (make sure to include the shipping) and ask your local dealer to match their price. I saved about $30 per tire that way.

Studded snow tires all around send a very intelligent statement. Especially where you live. And they sound really cool on the pavement as they chew it up.

I'm with Bob on this one. Truck tires should communicate maximum machismo. You should also make sure the tires, and your truck, are caked in mud at all times. And a lift kit...do you have a lift kit?

Evan,
I had good luck with Toyo tires on my truck. Look at the "Open Country H/T". Considerably less expensive than most of the comparable name brands. My dealer had to order them for me (took a couple of days). His regular distributor doesn't want him to sell them because they (the distributor) makes more money on the big names.
