I got bored at work and came up with this. I guess it's played in E.
SITTING ON THE FRONT PORCH (on my backside)
sitting on my back side on my front porch watching the world go by sitting on my front porch on my backside watching the world go by
these big porch rockers keep a rocking on While I'm holding my honey's hand we sit and watch the kids on the lawn thinking that life is grand
sitting on my back side on my front porch watching the world go by sitting on my front porch on my backside watching the world go by
After awhile we go inside to eat Maybe sit and watch some tv Next thing we know we are back there again 'cause it's our favorite place to be
Yeah we're sitting on our backsides On my front porch watching the world go by we're sitting on the front porch On our backsides Watching the world go by.

Interesting. At first i thought the; back side, front porch, and; front porch, back side were causing a problem. But i see that flip is intentional for you. and that can be very nice.
You might continue the flip by saying; watching the world go by, and; watching a by-gone world (or something like that).
Also, might be nice to say something like; who knows what tomorrow brings, or who cares what tomorrow brings, nothing better than etc. (that could be a bridge to the tune maybe).
Or you could ignore whatever I say. Most people do.

Marshall,
I value your suggestions and opinions, I like the 'bygone world" idea too. I will work on it.

I don't usually get into these threads. You'll know why in a second. Picking up where you and then Marshall left off:
Yeah we're sitting on our backsides On my front porch watching the world go by we're sitting back on the front porch Laughing on the inside Watching the world go by.
