Nice, Gene, and I particularly like the first one. I think it might work a little better with a lot less highway showing but that's all taste.

I recognize that sky.
First one is very interesting. Strangely compelling juxtaposition of the pastoral heavens with the hard focused asphalt. God and man in a strange combination.
Second one is more regular nice pastoral. The perspective lines converging on the barn are emphatic.

The first two work nicely as a diptych, no? If alone, I much prefer the top one. The greeness needs a foil to be effective. Think? Thanks for posting. I haven't been taking photos at all this summer hardly - I've been up to my neck in making the hacienda presentable. It's been pretty backbreaking. No money for gas either. Lots going on.
