Back last night ("Oh, you been gone?") from Djangofest Northwest, a Cyril Pahinui workshop, and points in between. Three workshops, eight concerts, two meals with an editor, one with Cyril & wife, and a performance of Twelfth Night (featuring my excellent niece as Olivia) in eight days not counting travel. And this morning discovered that the basement drain had experienced a minor blockage-and-backup some time during my absence, so I'm well and truly down to, um, earth now. Next tasks: fill bird feeders, empty cat boxes. Or is it the other way around?

back.
My oncologist promises to perform the most mundane and boring surgery on the 10th of December or thereabouts. Cancer stable, apparently.
It was a pretty trip. I stopped in Stratford to visit with the swans. They practically sit on your lap.
