... ended today after 39 days. I took the JC-16GTR back to Willie's, explained to them that I was allergic to it, and they took it back for a 5% restocking fee, so I basically rented it for $2 a day. Not bad!
And I never sent in the registration, so they can sell it with full warranty and there is no proof I ever owned a Martin, so I can't be blackmailed.

And on top of that you get to maintain your sparkling reputation of being a guitar whore who loves them and ditches them as fast as high school football stars go through cheerleaders.

Just leaving out the door to play at a friend's party along with other playing friends. For one number I'll be on Jay's JC-16GTR which is an incredible guitar...my fave acoustic among my local friends.

I guess a trial Gibson is next then? Since you're gonna return it anyway, go for the J-200

The Esteban and the Goodall and the Barbarossa, which might get a neck transplant if we can talk Jim Blilie into it.

A psychological thing that I can help you with Bill...my fees are not too high, there is a '34 00-21 I want that we can negotiate for, and I guarantee you will be able to play and not get sick from that 16 series, seems like a good deal for, I mean, to me.

Good. Now you can get the Santa Cruz you should have gotten in the first place. ;D Anyone else return a Martin Sudafed signature model?

So, I am thinking that I will start saving for a nice used 12-fretter -- has to have 1 3/4 neck. Something like a Bourgeois or H&D would be perfect. No slotheads need apply.

I'm out of the loop, Bill. Are you being euphemistic, or did you really have allergic reactions to the guitar?
If you were willing to wait for it, James Worland specializes in 12-fretters, and can make whatever neck you want.

Bill, I will never buy another guitar but if I did it would be the Bourgeois OMC with the hog back. I think it has a Martin like sound that you would like. If that won't work I afraid you are going to have to pick up a Gibson somewhere.

It has gorgeous beeswing mahog, but it's a 14-fretter.... ![](http://www.thepodium.com/images/Product/medium/ae00-1214.jpg)

That one exactly Bill. I have pined for that one since I first played it there at the Podium.

The only thing I am allergic to is these damn cedars in Texas. No cedar guitars and I'm in.
