Anyone know if it's possible to save internet favorites on one computer in order to transfer to another (new) computer?
Old computer is XP, new is Vista.

They are certainly transferable if you figure out how you plan to move files between computers.

In IE they are saved as shortcuts in a file called favorites. I think it's under users/profiles.

IE or Firefox?
Firefox the bookmarks are just an html file, copy and paste. IE I think you have to export.

Internet Explorer Favorites are in a folder under C:\Documents and Settings. Depending on how you set up the PC the Favorites folder can be under Administrator, Default User or under a specific users name.
Once you locate them it should be as easy as copying and moving any file.

I've kept all my bookmarks on Yahoo for years. I really like the portability.
They have a system where you can upload your existing bookmarks to them. Then you will have them wherever you are.
