Fiddlerina and I just watched it together. Wow! What great playing! What a great tune! What a great performer! Who made the video? And how? Fiddlerina just said "This makes me want to go running back up there." (Me too.) - Dub

Y'know, with that playing and that name, you sure Lars isn't some kinda excaped Minnesootan or somthin? I mean, them borders is all porous and stuff. I mean, no offense or nothin, but I'm just sayin.

Russell - when a great big flock of them were flying over on their way to Wisconsin and Minnesota a Jensen dropped down to check out the sound and thought the rest would follow. They kept on going and the Jensens forgot to rejoin the flock.

Marshall
Morgan refused to take part in any fingersyncing....The Tak, being close at hand that day, was all over it..."Pic me pic me" she squeeled!

Very nice! I was looking around for the rest of the band. Quite a wall of sound from one guitar.

I'm still hoping to see the extended tale. How was the video made? Where? By whom? What equipment? What about post processing? Enquiring minds want to know. - Dub

OK for inquiring minds....
A friend of ours had made a short art film and ask me if I would be interested in providing a piece of acoustic instrumental music for the film. It was 4 or so minutes of a waterfall going backwards or falling up. He liked what I came up with and as compensation offered to do a video of me performing whatever. So I started composing the piece based on that opening riff and turned on the multitracker at some point. I think there are 4 tracks of layered acoustic guitar (Morgan) and a bass line (Cort). I suggested to the film maker to just shoot my hands and I would just play along to the tune as it came out of a set of speakers in the room. He said, he really wanted to capture some of that bobbin' and weavin' that I do when I play and so "Facefingers" was conceived. He has a nice but basic video camera that he purchased before HI Def was affordable and uses Mac software for post.
There is the story of what happened after he gave me the DVD in the description section of youtube...That's about it.....Thanks for listening and all the kind comments.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in the flesh (mostly attired of course). Lars
