Amazing talent, but can't watch him, his stage theatrics aint to my taste, so I turn up the volume and just listen from another room. He opened with a great Beatles medley. What is the brand of guitar he plays?
Edit: Maton

I try to appreciate his guitar playing for what it is--flat out amazing--and just go along with the aw-shucks, goofy-faced, wink-and-nod mannerisms that accompany some of the tunes. I figure a little comic relief gives an added dimension that the non-guitarists in his audience might appreciate as compared to a motionless, stone-faced performance.
I have the PBS special DVR'd, and have been digesting it bit by bit. Just curious, what was the name of the tune he dedicated to "his Japanese friends"? Other than the token ending, nothing about it really sounded Japanese.

He plays Australian Maton guitars that are setup more like electrics than acoustics.

The Japanese song was probably "Sukiyaki".
