Effing cell phone woke me up with a email alert whilst turned off, go figure. Oh well, the lemons/lemonade lesson applies. Could be a lot worse. Fireplace roaring silently with alder logs, dog sleeping at on my feet, good fiction (Greg Iles) at my side, Yankees victorious last night, Soundhole forum addiction in place. Good morning.

Good morning.
Nats beat the Cubbies to go 2 over .500 for the best season start since they left Canukistan. Wings are gearing for round 2. Caps got beat so there's no more trash talking from the locals, and last I saw before I surrendered to sleep, the Tigers had come from behind to take an 11-7 lead over the Twinkies.
Starting out to be a good day.

Mornin' Bob.....Mornin' all.....
If the email alert was in Chinese, you can blame Todd.
Another windy one coming for us this afternoon. And now that plans are set and campsite reserved for this weekend, the forecast has been revised. Now supposed to be upper 30's Friday night.....was supposed to be lower 50's. Kids will freeze their butts off in the tent. 16 ft. camper trailer really only sleeps two.
Batter git busy.

it's a cool, cloudy day - and how did it get to be the next to the last day of April already?

Morning. Sounds like we're having the same weather -- cool and cloudy.

"Chinese Email Alert"...sounds like a good band name, Don.
Ball team over .500? Wonder what that's like. This has 'long season' written all over it for KC.
Had an unusual experience last night... Hannah, Jessica and I did the music at the youth mass at church. After we were done, one of the dads comes up and says something like "That's interesting. You were playing plugged in, but I didn't notice any piezo tone coming through the PA. How do you do that?"
Blink.
Morning, all.

Yes, Marty, I agree. But I still want you to look at those frets and see what you think.

There was frost last night and by Sunday we may set a record for heat (92 degrees). Gotta love April.
Headed out to Chicago early tomorrow to visit the grandbaby who is getting christened on Sunday.

G'morning everyone. My friend Bill that I jam with will be over in a few minutes for some jamming. He wants me to play his Taylor T 3 electric and I want to play it. The rest of the time will be spent on some pure acoustic jamming. I want to make some back up tapes so I hope we'll get a chance for that too.
I just got a pop up that Flower Mound is under a severe weather alert. Since I live there I better look see. Later......

Had a 48 mph gust at our house this morning. Supposed to get over 60 mph later. Not too unusual here.
Last night's dinner at a fancy Italian restaurant with Mr. H got postponed due to his cold. Stayed home and had bean burritos instead. Not the frozen microwaved kind. The kind made from what was left of the pot of pintos he cooked a few days ago.
Before anybody else says it, there's wind inside the house too.
