May 15th Headline from Northern California...
Low tide in Tiburon, CA.
Male resident waiting for first light to retreive a pair of sunglasses that slipped off his face into the water last night.

You'd think a guy who can see through sunglasses at night would be able to find his sunglasses in the dark.

Dang....If you lost them last night, and are waiting for first light to find them, don't you think you should look somewhere down around San Diego with the rip-tide and currents?
Oh, and what Jim said.

"Male resident waiting for first light to retreive a pair of sunglasses that slipped off his face into the water last night." Effing reporter misquoted me! 'Twas just before sunset when the the event happened. The photographer will be here to record the retrieval for the afternoon edition. They'll probably photoshop my face onto some old 60+ year old body. Hmmm....

Morgan and I are up. Coffee for me kibble for her. It's a good Saturday morning.
Good morning Loretta. I hope your grandchildren are making you happy.
Tonight I'm off to dinner and possibly a book club meeting with my friend Anne. I don't know if they would want to read the stuff I read.

Mornin'..... Has to be one of the strangest list of thread titles I've seen for a while for the Café. And the OP is about the same. Gig went pretty good, nicely filled tip pitcher. Made for a good start on the "Don's New Case for the Guild" fund.

Good Morning Good People
Sunny this fine Saturday morning. I am parked by the computer BSing with my peeps while Dawn works in the back yard. Getting ready for a visit from our 3-year-old grandniece, who is hanging out with her Uncle Zack this afternoon. Tending to cars and a massively shedding dog for the remainder of the day.
Have a melodious Saturday one and all.

Good morning. I am enjoying the second day of a four day weekend. Not a bad thing to enjoy. Coffee is good and it is a pretty day. I am gonna be playing with the porch plants today.

Well, days don't get much more perfecter in Minniesoda than this one. It's 60 degrees, sunny, and we will hit about 75 today.
I have been asked to make mit der musik at a neighborhood gathering this afternoon, and then it's off to Eau Claire for a belated Mom's Day dinner with my folks and sister ... I may also drop in on some friends who have a terrific lake place, if they are there, that is .... I could see put-putting around on their pontoon at sunset and crashing on their screened porch after singing '60s songs around the fire pit.
Hmmmmmmmmm .....
Kumbaya, m'Lord ....

Up at the crack of 11. I might try to impersonate a city resident to unload a couple of cheap fluorescent fixtures on the city recycling day
Trip to the library for another book to read under my 2 bookmark plan. Reading while drinking single malt necessitates inserting the first bookmark at the first signs of impairment. Then I read on and place the second book when I stop. The next time I read I start with the 2nd book mark but if there's anything I don't remember (why are we in Montana and where did the pygmies come from?) it's back to the first bookmark. ;D

You can do that even if they're not there. Have the place to yourself.
The river house across the street from us is empty and for sale. Last night Melva and I took a couple glasses of wine over and sat on the dock in the dark and watched the lights on the water. So that's how the better half lives...

I don't know if it's hilarious or sad but makes a book take twice as long to read. Don
