Bill, you know of course, about the Chinese symbol for crisis. It is either the symbol for danger and opportunity or it says stay away from the moo goo gai poops.
If.
If you were offered a great retirement/silver parachute thingie, you could go back to school, get your teaching credential, and teach, oh, I don't know, maybe something to do with spelling. And end up with a second retirement, and a job you liked. Maybe.
Mike
Keep on the sunny side.

And, if it was a golden parachute with phatty severance, you could just become a professional musician. Just think how good you'd be if you didn't have to dink around all day with some sort of job. Assuming you can still tie into some sort of health insurance, it's not a bad lifestyle...

Plus, if I had to play music for a living, I doubt I would enjoy it as much. Plus my hands are going away, and the more I play, the worse they get. On a positive note, they have stopped charging us for in-house newspapers at work, but I spose that will resume once the new owners move in.

"charging us for in-house newspapers at work"
That may be the most amazing thing I have ever heard coming from a newspaper... just mind bogglingly amazing
