I have just added Brasil to my itinerary of my fall trip to Central and South America. I'm enrolled in a Spanish class at the local community college here. Portuguese is a whole nuther issue. I had major language difficulty when I was there 3 years ago.
So far as well as the above... Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, Ecaudor, possibly Venezuela. I'm looking for a part time - maybe full time - place to live. I'll be starting in Panama, soon after Idiot Jam.
On the more mundane side of travel, this weekend will find the family at son's baseball tournament in The Best Little City in the World. Dagnabbit, it'll be hot up there. Think I'll take a guitar, play a bit in the ACed room.
Anyway, good morning, good people.
Marshall, you left a flatpick in my guitar case at iJam 2008.

Is this the daily? I hear that Costa Rica and Belize are great places for Americans to live. But I know nothing. Would you accept visitors in the winter?

Good morning. Buenos dias, for those of you planning to migrate south.
Another hot day's in store, about five degrees above normal. Work awaits and then Charley and I will rehearse for a set we'll play next week. Enjoy your day.

Mornin'..... I'll go ahead and post to this daily, seeing we have two again today. Today must really be Twosday. Besides, Paul gets to start a lot of dailies. Well, today is also departure day. Hoping to make it to Santa Rosa, NM or beyond by tonight. Then on into Phoenix Wednesday, where we shall enjoy dinner and a visit with Mr. and Mrs. Flake. Then flying Thursday morning on to Honolulu via a brief stop at Maui. So.....these will probably be my last posts here until 7/18 or after. We're not taking a laptop, as Joan doesn't have any web in her condo. Actually, it will be a time of great sacrifice for each of us. Barb will be taking a 2 week break from Facebook, I won't have a guitar with me ( but I'm still buying a uke, and visiting at least 3 music stores ;D), Ty won't have his bike, Shay won't have her i-Pod (so no Justin Beaver), and Carrie won't have any Barbies. So you all have a great Fourth, be cool, stay safe and healthy.....and I'll catch up with you all later.
