And I'm probably not even going to be here for it!

You're breakin' my heart. THIS was the year I was finally going to make it. Turns out we're attending the wedding of a friend of Fiddlerina's on Oct. 2 in Albuquerque, NM.
Plus we're playing a festival in MO on Oct. 7 & 8.
Grumble, grumble, gripe... complain.

The only "bad" thing about this festival is that there are 5 stages with simultaneous performers so you have to choose, and it's not that easy to go from one to the other and get good seats that are close. If I were going this year, I'd choose The Rooster Stage - like I usually do - as it has the most in the way of singer-songwriters.
Boz, T-Bone, Elvis, Richard Thompson, Joan Baez, Nick Lowe, Robert Earl Keen, Dave Alvin likely all on The Rooster Stage. Guy Clark w/ Verlon Thompson always there but not on the bill yet.

Check your map.....we could talk about it at IJam.

Damn. That'd be nice around here.
We only get Lallapalooza with Lady Gaga, and local summer fests with the remnants of Jefferson Starship and Dave Mason.
*Blech!*

Dave Mason is not so bad. Not exactly Guy Clark, Steve Earle, or Boz...
That sounds like the concert of the year. Wish I could go.
