Good morning, all. The rain last night was nice. It was 75 degrees with cold raindrops at the local Walgreens last night. Cornflake, I should have warned you yesterday that I was getting my car washed earlier in the day.
Speaking of the car, the clicking/clunking sounds coming from the front end was... mounting bolts. The __________ who changed my timing belt neglected to make sure the engine was bolted nice and tight to the car. Luckily, even driving from Kansas City to Phoenix didn't cause any damage to the mounts.

Woke up twice last night to Thunder being all agitated. I've noticed lots of deer and several bucks roaming around. They must have been just outside of the fence because although Thunder has access to the fenced in front garden area via a doggy door, he can't get to the fenced backyard portion unless we let him out. He must have seen a deer walking towards the backyard and he was TOTALLY UPSET that he couldn't protect us from those dangerous predators.
I think he was saying :
DAD! DAD! They're Right There! Look, There They Are! Can't You Smell Them! RIGHT THERE! OH MY GOSH DAD THE DEER ARE ALMOST HERE! I'LL SAVE YOU!!!! Let Me Out! LET ME OUT RIGHT NOW BEFORE THEY COME CLOSER!

Our (little) dog loves to bark and chase deer during the daytime. One night I saw that there were a few in the back yard, just about out of range of our yard lights. I opened the door and told him to "go get 'em!" He took a couple of steps, stopped, and turned around, giving me a look that said, "WTF?!? There are some scary big things out there. YOU get 'em!"
