G'day, mates and matettes. Sleep not coming easily tonight, so I'm going to try a cuppa tea. And a trozodone (sleeping pill)
Tomorrow will find me boning up on prospective company's website, my interviewers' LinkedIn profiles, and various sales hunting techniques. And some piano & guitar playing.
And a Yankee/Rays Game on the telli! Why they did they change name from Devil Rays to Sun Rays?
First some sleep...

My son in Chicago got us tickets for Richard Thompson full band tour at the Vic--about 50 yards from his bedroom window. Booked flights on SW so I'll be heading out for a grandbaby visit first weekend of November.
Just previewed the new album--Dream Attic.

Mornin'.....
Bleah! First cold symptoms started yesterday. A bit of sinus irritation along with a 60 grit throat. Did I say "Bleah!" ?
"River" is committed to memory, still needs more repetition to lock it in. Great little tune.
Bleah!

Bleary. Nice long conversation with my buddy Felix last night. Sounds like an interesting cat. Just back from running with the boy. He's outside right now, cooling off in his pool.

Not crazy about the new RT album. I haven't heard the new RT disc yet; however I have about ten others. I probably enjoy listening to 40 or 50 percent of the cuts. But when I see him live, EVERY song is worth it. His live performances and guitar playing are friggin awesome! Think he's coming to the HSBF!!!!!!

Oh I agree Bob! I'm a big RT fan, but this album and his last album (Sweet Warrior) are sort of ok. The second cut on the new album sounds like he was listening to a lot of Tom Waits the day he wrote it. Not bad, just takes some getting used to. Then the third song, Haul Me Up sounds like a live track is quite good. I couldn't get through the next couple. But maybe later I'll warm up to them, I just have to get through the whole thing still. For all I know there's a classic gem waiting for me. More "recent" albums that are top notched and I like just about every cut right off the rip are Mock Tudor and The Old Kit Bag

Hi! Very busy here, and it is hot and humid outside.
Maybe I'll get to check back in later!
Have a good day!

My right wrist hurts, a lot. I wonder what I did to it - it's been hurting on and off since late July. It doesn't feel like any sort of tendonitis issue, but I don't know. It hurts to grip items or put weight on it. An ice pack last night didn't help.
Other than that, good morning!

Up at 5:30 to head into town and work on the school musical, Calamity Jane. I don't like early morning rehearsals, but it does get them out of the way.
