Here's some music and an interview On Chicago WGN with Dan Mahar, a former Nashville cat that plays my guitars. He's playing a Rosewood/Lutz OM tuned down a step. Marty just installed some electronics on a resonator I'm finishing up for him. He's one of the most versatile musicians I've ever met. His blues album "Long Stone's Throw " is worth checking out. www.wgnradio.com/videobeta/c56c2b3c-5502-4427-8eee-8e71733e0c7d/Entertainment/Dan-Mahar

Nicely played! Great-sounding guitar, too. Thanks for posting the link.

Wow, that's great, Terry. Great interview, great performer and really great guitar. I can't wait to hear him on his new archtop reso. - Dub

He's got a video of his Ireland tour last spring. It's a little long but pretty cool. www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGwGWu36xA0He took my resonator along. He and Billy are going back in three weeks and he invited me along but I think two weeks on the road with Dan would put me in the hospital.

I like the long video. He appears to be a fun guy. How did it come about that he started playing your guitars?

I like the long video. He appears to be a fun guy. How did it come about that he started playing your guitars? He lives in Sioux Falls now and saw them at The Podium about three years ago. He drove up and we met and I built the OM and later a reso for him. We've become good friends and I just finished a cutaway reso for him with a bridge pizeo and a fretboard end humbucker that Marty helped me install. (Or rather I watched Marty do it!)
