Sleepless in the San Fran area.
So I'm reading my son's Communication course textbook. Very interesting, and insightful. The chapter I'm reading now is Emotions: Feeling, Thinking, and Communicating. I wish I'd taken this course when I was a sophomore, 45 years ago.
In other news, my guitar playing is improving. Need to borrow an electric from a buddy so I can play any time.
Leo Kottke coming to town April 15th. Never seen him live. He's playing at a great venue, The Uptown Theatre in Napa. Just got a ticket.
So, good morning, folks. Low 60s and sunny expected. Might take a ride up to Napa County in the midday.

Good morning. Got a lot of rain yesterday but no earthquakes or tsunamis so things could be worse. Got an e-mail asking me to fill in for an act at an assisted living facility north of here this afternoon at 3 for an hour. The woman who runs the open mic here was supposed to perform but can't make it and suggested me. I said I could do it but the administrator hasn't decided whether to go ahead or cancel so I'm waiting a phone call this morning. My original intent was to play places like that so this could be my way in. Of course, I spent the night dreaming of the gig from hell so I kind of hope she cancels. We'll see.

Good morning all. Praying for people in Hawaii and all along the coasts. This is scary folks.
All here in SW Georgia is good. No threat of earthquake or tsunami here.

Hang in there Bob. Take a good ride.
Just mulling around the house. Getting ready for the commute. Pretty busy day. Richard Shindell is at Space tonight. I don't have a ticket. But I checked and there are GA seats/standing room available. Would be nice. But family stuff is likely going to get in the way.
Plus there'll be Patti Larkin there in a couple weeks. And a few days after that is Sons of the Never Wrong (a local group. I'm recording with Bruce Roper).
And i was surfing their site and was checking out that date for Kim Richey in April. And i see where a local guy i know, Jeff Libman, is opening for Kim Richey. So, that's cool.
Space is very cool. It's at the crossroads of national and local artists. Quite a coup to get in there. (but not impossible).

Good morning from a motel. Business is done. I'll see some sights and then drive back to Phoenix.

Good morning... watching tsunami news on CNN. They're making it sound awfully bad for California.

Morning. Long day coming up, electronics class until 10 tonight. It looks like the tsunami will be hitting Hawaii in about a half hour. Praying that there won't be as much loss of life from this quake and the related tsunami as I fear.

Mornin'.....
And what a mornin' it is. Glued to the tube and computer. Family in both Honolulu and Tokyo.
I don't think anyone really knows how to predict this stuff. Or report it.

'mornin' - As someone who lives by the sea I'm wonderin' just what the affect will be on my morning journey to the mainland - from what I've gathered, no one really knows. Not much I expect.

Oh well, gig was canceled but at least she wanted to keep my name for future reference so maybe something will come of it yet. Damn, too wet for golf.

I'm out in Missouri. It's 60 plus here today with the sun shining. We leave some time tonight or tomorrow morning for Colorado for the week.
Hope all is well.

Right at the end of the Strait like that if there is any thing it maybe amplified by running down the Strait.

Didn't sleep well after seeing the news last night about the huge earthquake. It seems that the epicenters of these huge quakes are moving clockwise around the Pacific Plate...Chile, New Zealand, Japan, what's next? Alaska/North America? (Us...?)
The footage from Japan is ghastly.
