OK, I'll start it. Still an extension of the the 20th for me. Just finished watching The King's Speech. Time for a bit a sleep.
It's now officially the 21st, so enjoy it.

Mornin'.....
This is just the first one I saw, so here I am. No prob.
Playing a 4 song set, seven times over 3 hour period today as the Meade Grade School marches groups of students around to seven different stations around the school. Part of a belated Kansas Day celebration of being 150 years old. These 4 songs will not ever need to be rehearsed again. ;D
Then it's off to Garden City to High Plains Public Radio for a Living Room Concert of a Beth Woods (find her on Youtube), followed by the monthly jam.
My day is full.

Good morning.
Spending the day prepping for the festival in Lancaster.
Oh, and the Red Wings swept the Coyotes last night.
And the Nationals are above .500 and their rag-tag starting rotation is one of the best in the NL for the time being.
It's going to be a good day.

My son and his family have found an apt in Fells Point (Baltimore). Neighborhood looks pretty nice if Google maps street view is any indication. Should be moving mid-June and he starts his internship at Johns Hopkins which looks to be within walking distance. His wife has gotten a position at a law firm downtown.

I should have got an apartment within walking distance of Johns Hopkins instead of looking for a parking space within walking distance. I'll remember that if I ever have to go there again.

Good morning everyone. Very humid and misty day which I'm sure will help the fire fighters west of here. I was told yesterday that everything around Lake Possum Kingdom has burned--that's a very large lake. What a shame as this is a beautiful area.

Now I'm up...
When I started this thread, I saw the other one. Thought it was started at 4:22 so I let mine stand. Sorry for the morning confusion.
Double enjoy the day.

Halo.
Been out and about. Was up late last night too. Went to "Space" again for a singer-songwriter exchange with 5 local performers on stage. Nice format. Nice evening. Kept me out late. Up oily this morning and off to project visits. Just now catching my breath.
*huff puff*

About time the Nationals catch a break. It really is. And what's nice is it's really fun baseball to watch. There isn't a strikeout pitcher in their starting rotation. Their ace, Livan Hernandez (Strasburg is out for the season) can't hit 90 mph with his fastball. But they're all pitching to contact and the defense is backing them up. They turned 4 inning ending double plays in one of the Milwaukee games Sunday. And none of the starters have gone less than 5 innings which is unique in the league right now. Pitch counts are low and everyone's lasting. Obviously there's a lot to having guys who can rack up 18-20 Ks in a game, but this kind of ball is flat out a lot more entertaining to watch. And their big bats (like Jason Werth) haven't really come to life yet, but they're being insanely aggressive on the basepaths. and it's paying off. Ian Desmond has something like 7 or 8 steals in the first 17 games. They're stretching singles in to doubles and doubles into triples. Rick Ankiel just always looks like he's having a blast and his uniform's always a mess. And multiple suicide squeezes, safety squeezes, double steals, it's just crazy. Their hitting isn't fabulous but they're not leaving what they do get on base. And that adds up. So now they're up from the basement and solidly in third in their division. Now nobody's talking about how the Orioles might make DC forget their loser team this year. Probably not a playoff team (Philly is in their division), but just really fun to watch from a real baseball perspective. Hope they keep it up.

I've been up for a while. Spent a while lurking earlier this morning to confuse Doug.
Like others, I only log in when I want to post something. What can I say, I'm lazy.

I'm back and have finished my project for the day. Rebuilt the outdoor shower. Give the roof tank time to heat up and it's shower time without being cramped. Two heads one fixed and one with a hose, entirely solar. Aren't I green.
