Dang. The Twins draw the Chisox for the last weekend of the season and the Tigers draw the Royals.
Detroit just needs a win to clinch the division and they can't pullit out. Shiite.
Now they draw the Yankees first up.
Oh well, see y'all in round 2.

Sadly, epaul is not here. Doesn't appear to be over there either. Just gone. Let's all hope it's just a short break.

I'm here. And there.
I've just been busy combining my soybeans, picking my peppers, and re-organizing a cub scout troop.
Hey, Aquaman, I'm pulling for the Tigers, too. They are slumping big time right now, but that's nothing that a couple days of good pitching can't cure.
As Tom Kelly (former Twins manager) used to say, "Momentum is no longer than your next day's pitcher."
Whoever gets a couple real hot pitchers right now takes the wholes sheebang.

Hey, Paul! Glad to see you.
I don't follow baseball (football is king around here), so I'll just wish everybody luck, except the NY Yankees. Never liked them.

Paul, they're getting 60 bushel beans down here. Not bad, eh?

Yikes! That explains the price.
I have always felt we should be bombing the soybean fields in Brazil, not the sand in Iraq.
These new-fangled Republicans we have in charge have no sense of economics, none at all.

I've never understood why we offered so much agricultural technology, etc., to Brazil in the first place.

That's the best you can do in Iowa? Wow, must be the green combines.
