It's a perfect weather day, and we're off to see if we can get some dogs adopted. Wish them luck.

Overcast. But it's supposed to clear up and turn nice. There's a party this afternoon at Kari's house for her two graduating chillens. SHould be fun.
I'll plug in my bass this morning.

Good morning. Went out early for a pleasant walk. I agreed to be on the church stewardship committee, because I couldn't think of a good reason to say no, so I have to spend today in a workshop on that subject. Grumble. Enjoy your day.

G'mornin' - blue skies this morning after a stormy night We're off to a wedding today...sister of my DIL. Hoping we get some of those "blue skies"! In honor of the occasion, I found a killer LBCD on my shopping mission this week. I KNOW Bill will want to borrow it! ;D

Still morning here and pretty good I guess. Pool party for Mary's co-workers this afternoon so if you want to drop by feel free. I'd rather have a bunch of guitar players than medical personnel talking shop.

Bruce, I'm on my way. It will take me a few days to get there. I can't wait to talk politics!
Off to the shop soon if I can get my lazy ass off the sofa. I'm going to work on finishing a 9-27V power supply for pedals and other stuff, plus a frequency generator and a Fuzz Face.
I have a job interview by phone today.

We could use a trained luthier over here you know. I'm known as a sports jinx around Boston. Don't know about job interviews but I won't say anything yet.

I am getting a late start, but that is OK. Work was rugged last night and I handled some horrific stories -- at least they did not enter my Dreamworld. The Tommy E concert on PBS was terrific, especially as he had a lot of other musical guests, including the very wonderful Pam Rose, and they did several duets. That lady sure can sing and write, hoo boy. I always loved her "I'll Still Be Loving You" as recorded by Restless Heart (and she did that last night). The lyrics are a little gooey but the song itself is beautiful.
Today: shopping, wine tasting, maybe catch a movie. Tomoro: Drive to Eau Claire, visit folks, maybe stop at Vino in the Valley on the way back. I play there next Sunday, Father's Day.

Pads and rotors changed. I'll never pay to have that done again now that my co-worker, Ray, helped me out. That is a fringe benefit of having guys who used to be mechanics on my staff.

Yes, Pam Rose was wonderful, the vocacl trio at the end was good too. But TE and Frank Vignola just SMOKED! Evenin'..... I started my day with a big, hot mug of Hawaiian Hazelnut coffee, sitting by the lake with two poles in the water. Caught 4 nice catfish which we had for lunch today. Perfect morning, lake of glass, comfortable temps. The day ended like crap. By 7:00 p.m. all eyes were on the ever changing unstable skies as we frantically packed up best we could, threw some things in the Suburban, some in the camper. Ended up abandoning the camper and evacuating the campgrounds as a severe thunderstorm with significant rotation descended on the lake. Hopefully the camper survived and we can go back down in the morning and retrieve it.

Some parts were wonderful, but it turned to sh*t in about an hour.
