I've got "Tones from an Open Heart" to keep me company as I work (borrowed for now, definitely have to get my own). I have "interim reports" waiting in the wings after that. Nothing much to report; same oh, same oh. Glad Evan didn't drown that would have ruined my morning...jk, buddy it would have spoiled the whole damn day, I'm sure.

Sorry, I was in a hurry; yo soy Alan. Syruphole is a legit nickname as I have cousins, aunts and uncles who call me that exclusively. It's not as bad as it sounds. A "syruphole" was a leftover biscuit that one poked a hole in with the finger and filled it up with black strap molassas. I hear that everwhere I went, I would ask for one earning me this sobriquet. I always wanted to register somewhere using this family nickname. You don't rate on my dad's side unless you have a nickname: Butter, Goat, Dago, Butter's Brother, Jughead, Sissy, Miller (a girl), M.A., etc. (I think my threads sink faster here than the old place.)

Who is that mystery man?
On edit: Oh, I see you cross posted with the answer. Do we presume "interim reports" is drudgery and not music?

J, I need my own Tones CD. One of my employees came in my office this AM while I was listening to Philen's and was knocked out by it (I liked it too). What is the best way to get one? Your website?

Alan, Jah. The website is the highest profit for me. I used to offer free shipping for forum members so I'll toss in a check with the CD when I send it. I will most likely be playing in Tupelo at the end of the month...stay tuned. J

Can you refresh the collective memory where to access Mr Dearg's tunes?
'Interim Reports' sounds like paperwork you had to do. David, how did you come up with a name like that?

Gypsy, I appreciate the thought but I want to be the last to get an avatar. Who are the other neanderthals holding out? I need to hit the lottery sos I can come hang at the bar for a day or two then meander over to see Millring, VI, Uncle Billy, et al...

No problem, Alan -- I wasn't actually looking for an avatar for you, I was... er. nevermind. If you're ever in this neck-o-the-woods, let me know.
