kb, fine work! I love columbines. And I'm glad the advice was useful. The more time I spend with Lightroom, the less I use anything else.

I have started to learn photoshop but apart from stitching some panoramas and doing a little HDR, it only comes into play when I need to remove a reflection, clone out a stray imperfection or the like. I still remember the first time I used LR ... I moved the "sharpness" slider to the right and thought "holy **** you can DO that cheers kb

Very nice shots, particularly the one of the sunflowers.
I tried Lightroom a couple years ago, and it was just too clumsy for me. I'm using Photoshop Elements 10, now, and it does everything I need it to do. That said, I know a LOT of people who use LR, so there's gotta' be something to it...
