An amazing morning! SOooooo nice!! The painters are working on our building and since the entire back wall of the condo is floor to ceiling windows I feel like I'm living in a fish bowl.  I was scheduled to make my weekly visit to see the grandbabies and help out but my DIL's sister is there so I'm not needed. I had some photos I took of some hibiscus blossoms on the plant on my deck. They (the blossoms) are amazing!!! I had them (the photos) enlarged to 16 x 20 and intend to take them in to be matted and framed today (they are going to be a focal point if I ever get around to sewing slipcovers for my couches. that will be a long time from now but I wanted to get them framed mostly so they would store more easily/safely). There is a place running a 60% off sale this week. When I stopped in to just check it out yesterday the sweet little gal I'd been talking to told me to check the paper as a competitor was running a 65% off coupon and they would honor that! I have to go look for it....or look on line might be easier. I'm kind of glad to have the whole day with no commitments! Have a wonderful Wednesday! |

Good morning. I'm getting ready for camp tomorrow and am looking to have some fun and learn something. I'm going to take the mandolin this time. I think I took the guitar last time but the truth is I can't remember.

Mama said that the computer screen is not too bright for my eye.
Dearest Breeze and Ariel, thank you so much for the thought. I am glad you stayed to play because I could not go out with you until it starts raining again. And then you would get wet. I have my doberman puppy doll anyway.
I have been so good. Gagged down the medicine and let them put drops in my eye eleventy times a day. Mama says that the eye is much better. I have found that having two eyes is quite useful, and I will not smash myself into any more trees no matter what the bunny calls me. Damned bunnies are not funny. If I catch one I'll send a piece to you guys. Okay, two pieces.
You guys look pretty cool. I would love to play with you.

This is the kind of weather you wish you could box up and pull out of the hall closet whenever you damn well feel like it. It looks like it will continue well into tomorrow night, too, which is when the Roseville amphitheater gig takes place, featuring me, Lonnie, Mr. Hanners, Reed Schilleman & Co., and hope-ably a few others, as well. That runs from 7 to 9 p.m., after which we repair to Ol Mexico to watch Lonnie consume thousands of calories without gaining an ounce.
I hate him.
I love him, too.

Morgan's eye is getting better. Poor thing has not been able to go out in the sun for the past few days. Kate, speedy recovery wishes to Morgan John and Dar, Your dogs are awesome! Here's Dante (husky/malamute mix) in his favorite position. And also an awake picture.   I think the second picture was taken the day after we picked him up from the Rescue Organization. His looks haven't changed a whit. |
