Had to start this thread.
DamnYankees in first place!
Still a long 6 weeks to go. And 6 games are against the RedSox, 5 with The Rays, and 3 with The Angels. All tough.
Enjoy the day, folks.

Good morning. We Red Sox fans are used to August being a bad month. Maybe try golf again today.

This was on the front of a card I received yesterday. I love the photo (too bad the quality of my scanner is so lousy).

G'mornin' - It turns out one of my dogs likes fresh raw onion, harvested herself. I wondered what had been getting into the garden.

Present and accounted for.
Onions can be toxic for dogs.

Good morning, 42 years since Hurricane Camille. Dishwasher is still broken, and really smelly. I don't envy the guy who will eventually fix it. Otherwise, it's a pretty day outside, with very nice weather and temps in the forecast. I'm happy today, which is a good feeling.
I successfully added a 1/2 hour to my work day, 30 minutes before the store opens. I need some time to organize/get ready for the day before I have customers walking in the door.

I wondered what had been getting into the garden. And the dogs never barked close enough to smell doggie onion breath? Mornin'..... Last day of summer break, first official "School night". A ½ day to start then my days are mine again.

Good morning. We're enjoying baseball as well. Our over-achieving, small-payroll Diamondbacks lead their weak division by 3 1/2 games, and last night beat the best pitcher and the best team in the sport.
We had a little overnight rain, which was welcome. A busy day looms. Enjoy yours.
