Before I pack up the computer and load the guitars in the van I want to thank The Franks (all of them helped in the welcoming feel of Idiot Jam), the Hitchin' Post tavern, Bob Lowell (factorychef) (he cooked up some amazing ribs!). The flies for providing an interesting alarm clock.
And all the people that show up that make it such a special weekend.
Thanks!!!

Taking a break in Des Moines on the drive home. Had a nice last visit with everyone at the 218 earlier.
Sort of feel like driving slow so it all lasts longer.

Despite my best efforts to string out the drive home, Lydia and I arrived safely home around 2:30. Special thanks to the Ijammers (Rob and Russell, IIRC) who told Lydia about the Groucho Marx song in her honor...we listened to that more than once on the way home!
Great weekend!

I have 2 songs done completely and most of a third.....will go back tonight for another session. Then all day Tuesday. Makin' progress.
