Good morning. Forecast here says this is the last day of 80s. At least we're nowhere near 28.

Global cooling has arrived in Minnesota, coincidentally on the day Dapper Don Clark rolls into town -- I spoke with him yesterday to ascertain that he has a warm jacket along with him -- it's 37 here right now!
Don is gonna set his car's tractor beam for Podium, should get there just as Marty is knocking off for the day, and they will proceed to Glenn's place for the CreekHouse show prep, soundcheck, etc. I will have to catch up with them later as I have a post-work function that I am obliged to attend. I'm off work tomoro, though, and am excited about being an Official Tour Guide for Don all day, with lunch at Kafe 421 and attendance at a Lonnie Knight gig in the evening. Just hope the spare bedroom stays warm enough for my guest -- it's so strange to hear and feel the FURNACE again!
Hoping Mizz Resolve made it safely to Denver and that her visit is going splendidly.

Good morning. Today I'll be headed to Truckee, California, where I've never been, for a reunion of high school friends. We went to high school in Texas and it's kind of a long story why we're reuniting in Truckee. They're all good folks and it should be fun.
Enjoy your day.

48 degrees out there right now. Balmy compared to what you guys have in MN. Could this be a hint of fall or a warning of winter? LJ

On the way into work, I saw a guy in a Mustang convertible ... with the top down, natch!
(When it's true top-down weather, Minnesotans leave the top up -- TOO DARNED HOT with it down!)

Still warm and muggy here in the South. We had a hint of fall last week but it didn't last. I've had enough summer now, I'm ready for the fall.

62 degrees at 10:00 AM. Expecting an overnight low near 51. The pleasant temperatures are a welcome change.
I do morning weather forecasts for 73 stations in about 19 states and I know how much cooler it is in the upper mid west and northwest. Still it seems odd that I should be forecasting frost for MN, ND, SD, OR, and MT at this time of year.
