The link seems to be broken.

The link seems to be broken. It isn't broken, Bob just accidentally posted the title instead of the URL.

That's horrible. I am truly offended. What the hell is the matter with Europe? Are children such an awful burden? The message should have been "get married, and have children in a stable, loving environment and raise them with love & discipline."
Sorry for the rant.

...What the hell is the matter with Europe? Evan may not be the first to pose that question. Of course Europeans ask "What the hell is the matter with the U.S.?" I admit to being surprised by the point of the commercial. I was going along thinking the supermarket tantrum would be resolved into a product endorsement... a food product. I've seen tantrums bordering on that one in stores and I'm always left wishing the child had better parents. - Dub

Yeah, it was a rant. I love Europe. But that attitude mystifies me. Children are a gift.

Not all gifts are appropriate for (or welcomed by) all recipients.
That said, the connection between the product and the pitch is curiously considered.

Different cultures and senses of humor in Europe. Children are a gift. That ad is funny as hell when not taken personally.

I agree that children are a wonderful gift. I'll also admit that at moments, rare moments, while raising them I was desparately searching for the return desk, convinced that I had gotten the wrong one. I've read enough stories here to know I'm not the only one.
I can see the humor in the commercial.

The whole thing looked tongue-in-cheek to me.

Temper tantrums have to be one of the biggest conundrums parents face.

Temper tantrums have to be one of the biggest conundrums parents face. So I should be sure to always wear a conundrum?

Sorry, I don't mean to keep beating the same old conundrum.

Leaving a four year old behind at the mall will sure break them of those tantrums, that I can assure you.
