Aw crap. I shouldn't have said it out loud. Now "You Are My Sunshine" is back.

I've been on a Pink Floyd kick lately. Particularly this one:
I like the solo here much better guitar solo than the one on Comfortably Numb, but I know most folks don't.

The last couple of days I've been listening to Good Old War. I love these guys. Largely acoustic, beautiful harmonies, well structured songs, and he's a really good acoustic guitarist. Give it a listen, go ahead.

Yea, probably not the best example of his abilities. But I like the song and harmonies. (and I didn't say phenomenal or even great)

Mostly listening to jazz on the radio lately whilst working late at night (some quality stuff like Brubeck or 30s/40s vintage, some saxaphone torture) For stress relief I have been listening to a recording of Vaughan-Williams' music featuring Fantasia on a Theme of Thomas Tallis and The Lark Ascending and a recording of Alan Hovhaness' music featuring Prayer of St. Gregory: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCLk2FD_iUc

I played "Can't stop movin'"by Sonny J on Youtube a couple of times earlier on. I had a lovelorn friend round and couldn't think of anything else to cheer him up. And that worked? Thankfully it was a hit Rob and it put a smile on his face. My relationship counselling talents may be a little bit iffy and to be honest, I was floundering, but I am sometimes not too bad at guessing the kinds of tunes that will take my friends' minds off their woes for a couple of minutes.

I've been enjoying one of our local Spanish language stations for the last however many months. The music is really cool, and its surprising how much of the language you can pick up by just listening.

Forgot about them for a number of years, but taking a stroll down memory lane with the Beat Farmers. I'm a happy boy. Any other fans out there? Oh, and David Lindley and Jackson Browne. Nice clips on YT. i can't pick just one.
