John, I saw your malamute album over on FB. Outstanding!!! Everyone, go see it. I must come visit you, well, not you, your dogs!   Dante is a Husky/Malamute mix, so we're told. This was taken the 2nd day after he came home with us. |

Dante is gorgeous. Definitely looks more malamute than husky. Huskies are kinda hard angles to malamutes rounded edges. His brown eyes are definitely malamute (mals can have blue eyes, but it's VERY rare) and his ear set is closer to mal than husky. Husky ears sit atop their head, while mal's are on the side.
What got me started with the mal pix on FB -- I've been trying to go through files to dump thousands of duplicate pot shots that I don't need. As I stumble upon favorite dog pix, I'm trying to finally put them all in one file. I'm not even close to done with over 100 images already in the file.
