Good morning. Yea!!! The dog should go home today. She demanded 9 trips outside yesterday, 2 in the rain and just wanted to inspect every pine cone and branch on the property. I've taken care of her a few times before and this is the first time she's been a pain in the butt. At least it isn't cold outside so things could have been worse. Our birds are so much easier to take care of if you don't count washing the cages.

Might have been the grease from that that made you drop that pot yesterday. Be more careful from now on.

Good morning. Not a lot going on right now in my life. In two weeks I'll be headed over to Big Bend Nat. Park for a few days. One way that's a six hundred mile trip from here. It's been a few years since I've ridden a bike that far in a day so I'm somewhat apprehensive about that but I should have no trouble as I've been doing four and five hundred miles a day with no trouble when I'm out of the heat.

Roy, the trip to Big Bend sounds terrific. It's a great area, as you know.
Good morning, all.

Going to be driving 1500 miles this weekend. My daughter-in-law and granddaughter are moving back to Chicago early (Peter returns in June when his internship is finished). We're caravanning with three vehicles starting tonight. I've been anxious about winter weather for this trip, but now it turns out the snowstorm will be when I get back to Virginia on Sunday pm. IL, IN, OH, PA, MD look OK through the weekend.

Might have been the grease from that that made you drop that pot yesterday. Be more careful from now on. Especially with the chamber pot.

Speaking for myself this morning.... I'm very appreciative of the fact that it's Friday.
I hope your day is as good or better than mine. I think I'll manage to slip in some picking this weekend.

Survived the trip to Tucson yesterday, about 80 miles each way and a lot of driving around there. I do not miss city traffic.
Got a little rain overnight and the mountains have a fresh dusting of snow from what I can see through the low-hanging clouds. Very pretty, but nice to be inside where it's warm.

Good day ... the purging of years of stuff continues today. The line between treasured heirloom and junk is not as clear as I'd like.

When you're done with your stuff, kb, I have a basement full of treasure that you can wade through ...
Up bright and early because that was the way that Morgan wanted it to be.
Saw a huge flock of Starlings yesterday. They were making some racket and playing with the tree tops. Nice to see.

Gudafternoon.....
Never too late.
Quiet evening for me. Barb and the girls went up to Hays for tonight's Cimarron-Thomas Moore Prep basketball game. They will stay up there through Sunday shopping and probably spending more than we need to right now. Ty will come home late tonight after the game, about 2:15:00 away.
We'llI'll get up in the morning and make a big crockpot full of Italian Sausage and Penne pasta to take to the potluck lunch and jam. Ty will hang with me some, but spend most of the day with his old Fowler friends. Then we'll head back to Cimarron and hit the local pizza place that makes really great pizza. Owned by the realtor that helped us get our house, Norman & Clark will be playing there soon. That should help us get known in the new county.
