Still gotta come up with a name for the band, almost (well, no almost about it) afraid to ak for suggestions from this bunch of folks. ;D You should bring them to the open mike tonight, sir!

COME ON OUT TO THE WINONA LAKE ART FAIR!! FINAL DAY! THERE'S AN OPEN PORCH RIGHT BEHIND MY BOOTH AND WE CAN HAVE A MONSTER JAM AND ENTERTAIN PASSERSBY. Gosh, does that ever sound inviting. If it had been Winona, Minn., I wudda hopped in the car! John, I met a potter yesterday who knows you -- Minnesota dude named Bob Briscoe. I liked his stuff almost half as much as I like yours! He was at the St. Anthony Park Arts Festival in St. Paul.

Open mic is a possibility for me, depending on how late we rehearse... rest of the guys, dunno. Pencil me in for any slot after 7.

Evan, really! I think you are one of the nicest people I know, so that cancels out what you think. Release. Have a great day! Rainy and very cool here. We need it. The peas and beans need it. The farmers need it. Looking forward to a pretty boring day again. Oh well. Slept well.

Had lox and bagels for breakfast at home. Wouldn't know where to go out around here to get them. Used to have a bagel shop in Sierra Vista, long gone.
So far a dull day of doing laundry and putting camping gear away. We decided not to go camping again until the forests get some rain. We wouldn't want to be caught on a mountain with one way in and out if a fire started. So I'll have to make due with looking out the windows while I play some guitar.
Yeah, Jim, you're in deep debt, which no doubt will be collected at the proper time.

I was just talking about, uh, bodily functions, growths, and the like. I'm suprised Tapewormie hasn't just up and left.

V.I., no I don't make my own bagels. They come from the supermarket. The lox are from Costco in Tucson. We bought 24 ounces the other day, put 4 ounces each in baggies and froze all but one package. I meant that there's no place where I can go out to breakfast and order lox and bagels. There's no good place to go for Sunday brunch. We stay home or occasionally go to Golden Corral (barely tolerable) or a Chinese buffet (good, but not great). The price we pay for not living in a city.

I met Bob when we were doing show together in Winter Park, FL. We found that we had lots of common friends (what one might expect from two guys who've been doing it for 30+ years. Bob and a few other fabulous MN potters (Will Swanson, Nick Joerling and four others) put together the now famous St Croix Valley pottery tour www.minnesotapotters.com/ Northern Indiana potters are taking the cue and trying the first annual this September.

We don't live in the city either, so I hear what you are saying. But it's well worth it, isn't it?
