I am still just a new guy with no current opinion I have so far figured out that you like friendship, solar power, playing in the outdoors and on the water, the pretty ladeez and carbon guitars amongst other things. I was at first troubled by the last of those things, but Paul Schlimm's choice for Kabul twanging has eased my mind a little.

And all this time I thought it was my breath causing people to leave.
To be serious, and only slightly more so, there are some among our ranks who often label, categorize, or stereotype those with whom they disagree. That often leads to the name calling that becomes a bit hard to take.
As much as I love this forum and the people on it, there are times that I need to take a break from it all.

Chili. Stay put. That's a bloody order. If I can hang out here as a Canadian commie socialist artist you can too. Not that you are a Canadian socialist commie artist, just an artist. But that's bad enough in some places.

I need to be thinning, but the holiday season makes it really hard.

I'm thinning. 45 pounds this year. It involves not eating potatoes, rice, candy, much meat, junk food and drinking a lot of water. I've gone from an XL to a medium, from size 14 to to 7. I eat a lot of vegetables and fruit. I am pretty happy about it. Food doesn't make me as happy as being the right weight. My feet don't hurt any more.

27 July 2012 = 212 lbs. 20 Nov 2012 = 198 lbs.
Goal for redeployment = 188 lbs and 2 more inches on my arms.

My life goes on in endless song above earth's lamentations, I hear the real, though far-off hymn that hails a new creation. Through all the tumult and the strife I hear it's music ringing, It sounds an echo in my soul. Why do our ranks keep thinning?
While though the tempest loudly roars, I hear the truth, it liveth. And though the darkness 'round me close, songs in the night it giveth. No storm can shake my inmost calm, while to that rock I'm clinging. Since love is lord of heaven and earth Why do our ranks keep thinning?
When tyrants tremble sick with fear and hear their death knell ringing, when friends rejoice both far and near Why do our ranks keep thinning?
In prison cell and dungeon vile our thoughts to them are winging, when friends by shame are undefiled Why do our ranks keep thinning?

10 years ago I got up to 218 lbs after quitting my two pack a day smoking habit. 161 today. If I put 2 inches on my arms that would make 4 ;D

It's not always a good thing. Take this headline, for instance: TWO ATE TEEN, DRAW DEATH PENALTY SENTENCE
