I seem to be declining in my techno abilities. I'm trying to share one stinkin' photo from my iPhone 4 to the forum and the phone wants me to do an iCloud thinqy. How can I simplify this process, other than depositing the phone in the bay?

Everytime I plug my phone into my computer to charge the battery, a Windows thingy pops up with the new device and asks what I want to do. One option is to "Open device and view files" which I chose, if I've got some photos on there. Apple only lets Windows look at files like photos and videos. I find the picture and copy it to a photo directory on my computer. It's a jpg. Then I can edit it in Photoshop and/or post it directly to wherever I want.

Posting a photo from iPhone to a PB forum is hard, relatively speaking. This isn't Apple's fault as much as the PB folks. PB was developed before mobile computing was common. You either have to upload a photo from your computer or enter a URL inside an image tag. Social nets like Facebook and Twitter were designed with a provision for receiving photos.
You need to share your photo to some sharing service on the Net, get the URL for it, then come back and post it here. But The PB iOS app doesn't have any tag buttons so you have to code your own "IMG" tag.

Marshall, I was thinking of you when I started this. There a fruit company out here in Watsonville that seems to have an almost year round supply and know you were lamenting the lack of blueberries and/or the escalating prices. I was trying to find out if they have a retail supplier in the Chicago area or if they'll ship" to you directly. Blueberries are definitely a part of my diet. I'll let you know if I have any success at my end here. Check your email.

Well thanks. We're in a lull for bloobies. But the Uraguayan winter crop is coming in. They're just a little pricey at the moment.
It always gets me though. I must be too subtle for my own good. The blueberry thing is meant to be a metaphoric lament for the changing seasons. The lost fruitfulness of summer. The dreadful coming of a cold dreary winter (the Wolf of Winter), and the hunger it brings for mother earth's bounty. Our modern society is so out-of-tune with the seasons, that all I ever hear in response is; "you can buy frozen ones you know; they grow them in South America off season; I've got a supplier that can ship you some."
It's not about the fruit. It's about the seasons.
. . . , so now everybody will be telling me, "Hey, I know where you can get a cheap air fare to Jamaica."
(But I appreciate it, thanks.) ;D ;D ;D
