Haha...ouch! I was wondering where the college football jabs were at this year. Of course, the way my Noles are playing, I may not want to get involved.
I heard on the news also that a kidnapped Alabama cheerleader was returned this morning with a full set of teeth. Sickos...

Cribbs, if your team playing well is a prerequisite for dishing out college football humor, I guess I'll talk to y'all again sometime around 2009. :-) But at least maybe 'Bama can beat one of Spurrier's former teams this season--They're playing the mighty Duke Blue Devils this weekend. And I'll be rooting for AU vs the Hogs, doc. I actually pull for you guys every week except the last one of the regular season.

We get NC State tonight. Chuck Amato has had our number, and we ain't that good anymore.
Should be a good game.

Hey, what's the use if we can't poke a little fun once in a while? Frankly, I think winning a lot, as Auburn has been doing, should improve a fan's sense of humor.
Bama looks to be in for a long season to me. I see a lot af talent, but I fear there is a deficit of coaching ability.

I can't believe the wonks are giving LSU an edge over the Gators in the Swamp. I predict another close loss for my Tigers.

Not me. I think LSU wins handily. In fact, I think LSU may very well be the best team in the country, and that Auburn got lucky to beat them.

I can't laugh at any teams at the moment. When the wind is from the south I can smell Mississippi State, when the Wind is from the west I can smell Ole Miss, and this season..... THEY BOTH [glow=red,2,300]STINK !!![/glow]

The Southeast conference is absolutely BRUTAL! No great teams but a whole lot of good ones. Best conference, top to bottom, in the NCAA. Hard to imagine any team going undefeated, though sometimes it happens. I sort of root for Tennessee (having been born there) but my sports allegiance usually goes with Connecticut. I've actually been in Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. It's ENORMOUS! (100,000+).

No great teams? Not Auburn? Not LSU (2003 National Champeens)? Not #5 Florida? Or, year 'fore last, Georgia?
Tell me another conference bunched up in the top 10 like that.

That's the problem, Evan. Too many tough teams. It will be hard to get to the national championship game with the conference schedule those teams have. Real tough to go undefeated.
