Damn! Monday always seems to come at the beginning of the week, and puts a damper on the next 6 days. Supposed to be a lovely day here, and I have to spend it indoors.

Good Morning Good People
A cloudy morning in Alpena, Michigan, near the tip of the index finger on Michigan's infamous mitten.
Working on the last gasps of a diesel fuel spill at a massive limestone quarry. Because I am old and lazy, subcontractors are doing most of the work (it also comes out cheaper for my client). Returning home late this evening.
Have a survivable Monday one and all.

I am up. I am going to go to Fitness for the first time in over a month. My ankle is a bit better since I got the brace so I am going to see how things go. I won't be able to walk the track but stationary bikes and the like should be ok. If you hear a scream, it means going was not a good idea. Enjoy the day.

Morning. Well, they sent my Mom home last night so that is good and she seems to be OK. I have 4 days of work this week then I'm done until Sept. I am heading down to help Mom out next weekend. Not looking forward to the heat of the summer desert, but oh well. Have a good day everyone.

G'mornin' - I used to have a job where Mondays were my Saturday, which was good, but Fridays were my Monday, which was bad - it did help my hermiting though.
Best wishes to all those going through medical challenges this week.

Morning
Most of you saw Posts 9-11 on the Restoring thread, well grandson Tyler is coming over this morning to continue work on his first fret job. If you think doing the work was tedious just try teaching it.

LateMornin'.....
Thought I'd sneak in and say Hi!
Doing OK here, about the same really. Just biding my time until October when I retake those 3 key tests and hopefully get on with this thing.
Swannanoa Gathering classes started this morning. *Sniff!* There was a great pre-Gathering warm-up party Saturday evening and I put in a Face Time call to one of my Swanny friends and got to see quite a few folks.
Next regular monthly checkup at KC is Aug.11.....so I'll leave on the 9th and take a slight detour to NW Kansas and play a solo set at PleasantFest, the private festival/family reunion I've played at the last 3 years. Seems to always come a week after Swannanoa. Then in September, planning on getting to Winfield again too.....mainly to hang in the campgrounds and also meet up with Pete Huttlinger.
The dog days are here.....time to turn the AC back on.
Later!

Belated howdy do from Homer, Alaska. It's as beautiful a setting for a town or city as I've ever seen. Y'all be good.
