Good morning. Walking a big local job today with the builder and my distributor and making a pitch. After that probably knocking off early as it's been slow.

Marty, be careful about what you eat. The socket (i.e. hole) where the tooth was has to close up. I assume that you have an open socket even though the tooth was loose. Mr. H had two wisdom teeth pulled in December. Being in his late 60s, it took over a month for the sockets to completely close. You really don't want to get something stuck in there. No sunflower seeds with that whiskey/whisky. Also, have Da Wife or someone else look in your mouth every couple of days to see how things are progressing.
I never even thought about it being Friday the 13th until I read this thread. Was focused on Valentine's Day the 14th.

I started gently rinsing with salt water this morning and am eating softer foods.

Do you realize that "black cat" sounds exactly like "black hat"? Who told you that, Mike Hunt? I heard it from Ben Dover and he said that Mike Wrahtch told him first.

Good morning all. I don't know what happened to my post I made up a while ago but here's what I thought I said. It's 37° right now but we expect 60° this afternoon.

Good morning all. I don't know what happened to my post I made up a while ago but here's what I thought I said. It's 37° right now but we expect 60° this afternoon. It has to bounce off the moon a couple of times before it shows up.

Do you realize that "black cat" sounds exactly like "black hat"? Who told you that, Mike Hunt? Seriously, a woman I knew in college had a Mike Hunt in the 6th grade class she student taught. The other kids in class had grown up with him and no one had heard the connection yet. But she started having students call the roll and she was glad she wasn't going to be around when they all hit junior high.

Oooo, Friday the 13th! You know what would be really spooky? If one year Friday the 13th landed on Halloween! I'd freak out, man!

How do from Brevard, NC, where it's sunny, windy and almost as cold as Mpls today, but it matters not as I was able to meet and hold and cuddle Mizz Afton today, OMG, what a beautiful child she is.
Parents are exhausted of course, so I watched her for a bit as they got a little rest, and then it was feeding time, and changing time, and getting dressed time, and get put in the carrier time and then we all drove down to a cool place called Square Root, had a terrific lunch.
I'm back at my motel now for a bit, then back to the homestead to fawn further over Afton, who is one month old tomoro. Elderdottir is driving in for a couple days tomoro, as well -- it will be so great to have the whole famn damily together!

One of my grandson's high school friends and football teammates was Mike Hawk. PA announcer: "Tackle made by Mike Hawk."

And you're doing things right, giving parents their space by staying elsewhere. As much as they love you, the appreciate the space you are giving them.
