At beautiful US 30 Drag Strip; where the Big Ones, Run Run Run.
That's the way the commercial always used to be hyped around here.
Can't sleep at the moment, soes i might as well get up. Maybe talking at you will make me sleepy.
I did my gig in the city at The Store last night. I have to say it couldn't have been any BETTER. A nice crowd. And the performers were stellar. I had a band of reknowns playing with me. A drummer, bass and a lead guitar guy. These guys are pros. Well not exactly. But they could be. And the other acts i had up there on the bill all turned in absolutely stellar performances. It was a magical night. Everything I could have hoped for.
So that's probably why I can't sleep. I'm too keyed up. I wanted it to be good for everybody. And it truly was. A night that shall live in infamy.

Up way too early. I've had a nasty cold the last couple of days. I'm rarely sick. Got a busy week and a half coming up and I need to get well. Did next to nothing yesterday except play guitar and finally start going over our taxes with Mr. H. Ought to be able to have the damned tax forms ready to mail tomorrow. Yes, we mail them.

G'mornin' - fingers sore and only played an little over an hour. Drove through fog for a couple hours yesterday, but there were only two slow curves in the road so it wasn't too bad, but it slowed me down. Got to Kingman an hour later than expected.

Good Morning Good People
A little bit snowy on the Third Coast, accumulation not expected. Sun peeking through, might not be a bad day for a hike. Household chores first, maybe some music after sleeping women awake.
Have a marvelous March the first one and all.

Morning
Lazy day for the most part. Taking eldest GD to her violin lesson and keeping an eye on youngest GD. While Ayana takes her lesson Zaria and I will play video games and have a bite to eat at the 7th St Bar & Grill.

Good day -- had a wonderful dinner last night at Babzi's place -- fresh-caught Canadian walleye, rolled in milk and seasoned breadcrumbs, then pan-seared in butter and olive oil. The fish was served along with a wild rice medley and a kale/garlic sautee, all accompanied by a lovely white burgundy that normally sold for $30 but which I snagged at a grand opening sale for $17. Life is good.
Marshall, love your rock star stance! Times like that you are glad you have a Gibby burst -- a Goodall cutaway just would not fit that visual!
I'm off to Eau Claire shortly, see if I can get my dad to remember who I am. I'm bringing along a guitar, maybe that will activate some neurons. Lovely day for a drive out there -- warmish, sunny, light winds. I might hit Dave's Brewfarm on the way home, taproom open 3 to 7 p.m. Dave has the place up for sale, so I figger I'd better patronize while I can.

March 1 and I got stuck in snow at the end of the driveway on the way to church. Neighbors helped me get out. We got about 7 inches of snow overnight.
Will have to fire up the snow blower when I get home
