And to answer Bob's question (and remove any anxiety about a conflict with M. Knopfler), IJ is Sept. 11-13.
Gate-check the guitar if you can't get it into the cabin with you, and get a gorilla-resistant case in any case. The hop to Cedar Rapids will almost certainly be in a plane too small to allow a guitar in the overhead, but a CR-J has room in the closet. (I've taken to flying first class, with the help of otherwise-useless Delta FF miles, and it's amazing what they'll do for a geezer with a seat up in the front section.) Do anything you can to keep the instrument out of the standard baggage system. Gate check, gate check, gate check.

Glad you can come, Bob. As for a roster, that will evolve over the next four months as people resolve the conflicts between their desires and their realities.
As of now, my wife and I expect to be there.
