Up and attem, looks to be warm and sunny this weekend for a change. Yay. Of course, I have some mundane chores to do, but I hope to be outdoors as much as possible. Tomorrow, though, it will be tough not to watch how well young Jordan Spieth can do in the final round of the Masters -- man, he sure is ripping up that course. And NOLO is hosting its first Indycar race at its new track, where rain looks almost guaranteed -- that could make things interesting. Babz and I got our first look and listen of the St Paul Chamber Orchestra's new concert hall last night, and we were blown away by the acoustics. Incredible presence, warmth, immediacy -- when the strings were playing their softest, it was like they were sitting next to you. Visually welcoming space, too, with an undulating ceiling made up of 15 linear miles of oak dowels.

Good Morning Good People
Clear and cool. Sorta quiet weekend with preparations for Mom's memorial service next weekend. Off to the office to scan some WWII vintage photos for a nephew who is making a collage.
Have a sensational springtime Saturday one and all.

The Chamber Orchestra's new digs look great -- I understand the immediacy part.

Morning, sweets!
Nice, sunny spring day. Flowerbed duty, some golf, and Anna's choir concert tonight. Then I will crack the seal on a bottle of Bushmill's and put up my feet.

Don't remember which but some rapper had a "Song" something like " It was a pretty good day, didn't have to use my AK..."
It was a pretty good day, 65 or so, played some bad golf, got one par anyway but the course was a swamp from last night's thunderstorms. Came home, took a nap then cleaned up the 1/4 of the yard I hadn't done yet and mowed the back 40. Glenlivet on the back porch while I grilled the steaks and baked potatoes. I'm tired but nothing really hurts, which I'm crediting to the Glenlivet. I think I'm gonna survive.

Let's not pick on the Yankee contingent...yet. Note the batting averages of Papi and Napoli.
