Regardless of how one might feel about the Civil War, its participants, and its outcome, it's a great song.

Thanks Tam. Here's another good Civil War song. I think it was written during the war and originally called "Two Soldiers". Lots of people have covered it but the Bluegrass Cardinal's version is my favorite. I always thought it was one of the more powerful antiwar songs out there. I don't know how Bobby Kennedy got in there.

Had many ancestors on both sides of the conflict. It is a subject I find fascinating.
