He's a startling adept and inventive guitar player. When I saw him live he did a solo arrangement of Simon's "One Trick Pony" that blew my mind. Of course I love his writing "Trouble with Poets" is wry humor at its best, and he really covers the human condition well. But he'll also pull some HUGE surprises out of his trick bag. When I saw him he did "The Very Thought Of You". This one's a gem...

I love this song, might have to take a stab at it... Some new chords to learn.

Peter has played for the Folk Society two or three times now--always a good show, always some sharp and funny comments. I like his combination of originals and other stuff. (Not covers--repertory.)

I have to say you guys have been posting some excellent music videos lately. It does my heart good to see these things and helps erase the memories of the 1910 Fruitjar Co., the Archies, or the Stevie Wonder things that have been put up in the past.

That is the most helpful songwriting lesson I've ever experienced. Although I think there is no help for me. 2-3 songs in 40 years. Not prolific.
