Elk in the yard is pretty damned cool. I had an Elk in the driveway once but he was collecting money for a charity they were sponsoring and he looked more like a 55 year old bald guy than the elk you photographed. Enjoy the day.

We always had Elks in the yard, until 3pm when the bar opened. Yes, I'm a life member.
Nice but windy day here which may keep the mosquitoes grounded so I'll try to power wash the pool stuff. It's nicer to play in water when it's 80 something outside.

Good morning. More unsettled weather today. Yesterday was a sparkling break in the current weather pattern.

Morning
40f right now and it will only get to about 55f today, the furnace come on last night.
Quick trip to the Podium this morning and then back to my shop to get some work done.
Bill did a trip to southern Minnesota last weekend visiting wineries and cheese shops. He brought me back some blue cheese from a place near Faribault, MN. Fabulous, not as salty as some of the fancy blues I've bought, nice tangy edge, crumbly yet creamy texture, just excellent. Thanks Bro.

G'mornin' - gray outside, but should clear up later. More fence to put in today, actually I think I'll start with the gates.

Here is background info on St. Pete's and the other cheeses they create in Faribault: www.faribaultdairy.com/The caves are really something, but are not open to the public, as the quartzite can absorb anything introduced to the space, including diseases. Twenty-nine thousand square feet of cave space, all hand-carved!

I'm free from chorus activities for the summer, aside from having some music to look at. Had a very nice end of the season potluck yesterday.
Mr. H and I are planning a few days of camping. We haven't been in a year and a half, so the planning is taking more effort than usual. We would normally head to a secluded spot in the mountains this time of year, but there's still snow up there. Instead we'll be in a campground at a small nearby lake.
