Morning
Podium day. Feeling sluggish today but a few sips of coffee is changing that.

It took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw.

I once hitchhiked from West Philly to my doorstep in Boulder Colo in 3 rides, hitching with my girlfriend. Talk about good juju. First a friend drove us as far as Harrisburg, then a black van filled with meth heads took us to the far side of Indiana. Slept on the ground in a pretty rest area (kept our guitars and stuff with us). In the am we gathered our stuff and Abby walked to the t'pike and stuck out her thumb, 3rd car by got a ride to Denver. Thought we'd stay the night with a friend but took a chance and stuck out our thumbs for less than five minutes, the guy that picked us up lived only 5 blocks away from our home and dropped us off at our doorstep. Now that was a trip.

Flying back home in a few hours. Hope O'Hare treats me well.
Be home for the next 2 weeks and get to close on our new house and do the necessary upgrades. A welcome break in the action.

Flying back home in a few hours. Hope O'Hare treats me well. . . . , Bwaa, haa, haa, haa haa !Good luck, sucker. (Used to be a time in a previous life, when one could just go out to an airport and meet somebody flying through for a couple of hours. Those pesky terrorists have changed all that.) Safe journey.
