The devil's in the details.

Details were sadly lacking. Intent was perhaps clear. I don't think I like that man, daddy.

Who would make a video like that?

Who would make a video like that? That's what's really weird. Not only did they make it, they bought ad time to have it shown as marketing lead-ins to other videos. That's how I stumbled across it. It was shown when I was watching a video on a TV station web site. Goofy stuff.

Totally bizarre. What would make you do that? I thought it was a joke.

Such a powerful, convicting message. Obviously the work of professionals.

Who would make a video like that? The funny thing is that it's probably militant atheists who have suddenly become so enamored of this Pope now that he seems to side with them on this climate change thing.

Except there is no evidence that Stalin was an atheist. In fact, he graduated from a seminary and had generally good relations with the Russian Orthodox Church. Yeah, NDT is an atheist. I guess he's a militant atheist because he proposes running an officially secular government on rational belief rather than religion. Actually, he's more like a jihadi atheist. ![:o](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/shocked.png)

Either disenfranchise the religious from voting, or get rid of democracy altogether. I think he'd choose the latter, given the modern-day move toward fascism.

There's nothing to say that Stalin was not an atheist. Often the best atheists come from deeply religious backgrounds. Ask Russell. Still there's no evidence that his regime was significantly based on any religious doctrine whatsoever. Just the purely rational and officially secular exercise of militarily backed political power. If you're going to post silly memes that show religious folks as bug eyed homocidal maniacs and atheists as coffee sipping, mellow hippies, you should at least recognize that some of the greatest mass murderers in history have no real religious motivations.

(Coffee? I took that to be some sort of craft brown ale)

How would you suggest having democracy while disallowing religious belief from participating? Where am I wrong? Interesting that you see my analysis of his suggestion as a slur. Do you not see the slur in his suggestion that religious belief is so inferior and unreasonable that it should be excluded from democracy?

What is the scientific argument that compels us to preserve and defend the lives of severely disabled newborn children?
