Chris was up to the shop this weekend for some adjustments on an archtop of mine he owns. He teaches jazz guitar at McNally Smih and is a great player gigging around the Twin Cities area. And doing camps/workshops in Wisconsin. Check him out. www.mcnallysmith.edu/faculty/christopher-olson

Tell him that if he wants to see an archtop, he should see mine. He'll be SO jealous.

And why is the Shamrock back on the headstock instead of the proud name of its maker?

It was a prototype that Dave Roos designed. Mahogany laminated back and sides and solid spruce top. Mahogany neck.
I've been putting Shamrocks on the prototypes.
It also has a mounted pickup. Idea was some feedback resistance but the warmth of a solid top and Mahogany. It sounds pretty good. Pickup is a tvJones.
