Another glorious day in ____________! Same here, but you'd have to sub something after "in". Wife is making beef stew for dinner, which will happen after today's Sumo is done.

Up too early but it is a pretty morning with haze lifting off the pond in back. Enjoy it.

Good Morning Good People
A little chilly, sunny now, clouds predicted. A coworker is covering the job site today, I'm doing desk work. Would rather go out and play.
Have a serene Sunday one and all.

G'mornin' - as I've said before, this is the only time of the year I miss the Midwest. Still dark here, but will be light in a couple hours, and maybe only damp for a few more hours - maybe I should pay attention to forecasts Trying to catch up on bookkeeping today, then bridge with Doug online this evening. Have a good'un y'all.

Morning It will be a beautiful Autumn day here in Minnesota, think I'll try to get out and enjoy it. Another glorious day in ____________! Same here, but you'd have to sub something after "in". Wife is making beef stew for dinner, which will happen after today's Sumo is done. I'm jealous, we don't get Sumo here unless you have cable and a world sports channel. I could watch some Jai Alai (hi lai)too.

Great day yesterday. Watched grandson play soccer. I'm a baseball fan over soccer, but five year olds chasing soccer balls is more fun than watching t-ball kids pick dandelions. Then we took daughter down the coast to Newburyport and Boston. I'm becoming a frazzled older driver in Boston traffic, but you just gotta barge ahead. Great day anyway.

9/20... I think he got the lyrics wrong in this song, it should have been 'nine and twenty', not four:

The "Time in a Bottle" wedding is at 2. I think I can do it but I wish flat-wound strings had some friction so the fingers that aren't supposed to be moving would stay put while the other ones move. Only get one take when playing live.

Only get one take when playing live. Clean the strings with a bit of alcohol, see if that makes them less slippery.

Been there, done that but the problem is the lack of left hand strength old age has brought on and trying to play around a 12th fret Am(9) chord which doesn't leave much room for movement. Thanks for the thought anyway. I'll just need to force the fingers to stay where I want them and hope they do. I just need to hold it for 6 bars.

Hey! Today is the 46th annual Old Fiddlers Picnic at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. Musician friends from several states around will be there. Fiddlerina and I will be among those doing a short stage set. But the best is talking and jamming with old friends.

Good afternoon from Saint Luke's Mid America Heart Institute! Beautiful day here. Today is day #7 post transplant! A week on the right side of the table. I couldn't be more thrilled at my progress in this short a period of time. I'm free from any IV meds, and have had no need for any postop pain meds. A little discomfort from a nagging cough is all. Significant strides in leg strength, balance, mobility, and oxygen levels. Will be off supplemental oxygen as well. Tomorrow, I will do my first biopsy to check for any initial tissue rejection, take a real shower, workout with PT on stairs, and be prepare to be released as early as Tuesday!
